Will Scheibel teaches Film & Screen Studies at Syracuse University, where he is Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Advising Faculty in the Goldring Arts Journalism program. He is the author and co-editor, respectively, of two books on director Nicholas Ray: American Stranger (SUNY Press, 2017) and, with Steven Rybin, Lonely Places, Dangerous Ground (SUNY Press, 2014). Currently, he is writing a book on actress Gene Tierney.
